Hospitality Team Member - Housekeeping/Laundry

If you have a strong sense teamwork and take pride in helping others this may be the job for you! We are seeking a full-time employee to join our hospitality team. Reporting to the Manager of Facility Services, this position will provide housekeeping and laundry support to the Christian Science nursing program at Peace Haven. Although Christian Science church membership is not a requirement of this position, we are looking for individuals who will contribute to a mental atmosphere that is positive, supportive, and expectant of healing. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with others and to contribute to a cheerful and positive work environment; they will be patient, orderly, punctual, dependable, diligent, and flexible in adapting to the changing needs of the department.

Position Requirements Include:        ​

•  Has an interest in and/or experience working in a hospitality setting

• Able to understand directions, ask questions, and follow-through on assignments

• Skilled in time management

• Proficient in speaking and reading English

• Has the ability to bend, reach, lift and push up to 50 pounds

 

Position Qualifications Include:

• Experience working effectively within a team

• Demonstrated ability to support the department and all co-workers; treats others with dignity and respect

• Consistent track record of speaking to others using clear, appropriate and professional language

• Exercises sound judgment, professionalism and a positive attitude

• Is proactive, intuitive and a self-starter; demonstrates initiative

• High School diploma preferred, but is not required
