GENERAL ADMISSION & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

ADMISSION INQUIRIES AND APPLICATION

Those seeking the assistance of Christian Science nurses from one of our nursing programs, and fully relying on Christian Science for healing, are welcome to apply to Peace Haven for admission.

Peace Haven’s Admissions Committee considers each application for admission. For questions or to start the process call Cathy Farrell, Director of Christian Science Nursing, at 314.965.3833, Ext. 214 or Cathy@PeaceHavenAssociation.org. This telephone interview will help us determine whether we can best help through inpatient admission, our Visiting Christian Science Nurse Service, or through outpatient care. Each request is considered on an individual basis, according to the request and need, as well as availability for admission. The Director of Christian Science Nursing will make a recommendation to the Admissions Committee based on the initial interview. If accepted, the Admissions Committee will determine your level of care within 48 hours.

Admission requirements include that the individual is:

  • Fully relying on Christian Science for healing

  • Working daily with a Christian Science Journal-listed practitioner

  • Free from the use of medication, both over-the-counter and prescribed

The Christian Science Nurse Scope of Services by The Mother Church (Click Here to View) provides a helpful understanding of what Christian Science nursing includes and does not include. Upon admission, patients receive a copy of this letter to read and sign.
