Christian Science Nursing Assistant

This position is a great way to be of service to your fellow man—and especially so if you are considering a ministry in Christian Science nursing. The Christian Science Nursing Assistant is not assigned patient care, but works to support the Christian Science nursing floor through other assigned duties. Shifts are available on weekdays and evenings, weekends, and during holiday and summer break periods.

 

Position Requirements Include:        

  • Membership in The Mother Church

  • Membership in a Journal-listed branch Church of Christ, Scientist, or Christian Science Society

 

Position Qualifications Include:

  • Meets Mary Baker Eddy’s vision for the Christian Science nurse in their day to day work for Peace Haven as noted on page 395 of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: “An ill-tempered, complaining, or deceitful person should not be a nurse. The nurse should be cheerful, orderly, punctual, patient, full of faith – receptive to Truth and Love.”

  • Is experienced and comfortable interacting with all patients and residents with warmth, joy and naturalness

  • Is willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of residents and Peace Haven​
