Hospitality Manager

If you have a proven record of successfully managing teams and take pride in quality work and helping and developing others this may be the job for you!  We are seeking a full-time Hospitality Manager to oversee Peace Haven’s kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping activities. As a member of the Peace Haven leadership team, this position will lead and inspire our dedicated Hospitality team members to consistently deliver high levels of performance within a strong customer service framework.  

 

Although Christian Science church membership is not a requirement of this position, we are looking for individuals who will contribute to a mental atmosphere that is uplifting, supportive, and expectant of healing. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead and work with others and to establish a cheerful and positive work environment; they will be patient, orderly, punctual, dependable, diligent, and flexible in adapting to the changing needs of the department.

Position Requirements Include:        

• Proven record of effective and efficient leadership

• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage teams

• Experience supervising, motivating, and developing a staff while maintaining a positive work environment

• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and consistently shows respect and support for fellow staff members

• Consistent track record of speaking to others using clear, appropriate, and professional language

• Strong organizational skills

• Exercises sound judgment, professionalism, and a positive attitude

• Is proactive, intuitive, and a self-starter; demonstrates initiative

• Proficient in speaking and reading English

• Ability to freely bend, reach, lift, and push up to 50 pounds

 

Position Qualifications Include:

• Knowledge of measurement conversions and volume cooking, or willingness and ability to learn

• Food Safety Certification preferred, but is not required.

• Membership in The Mother Church and/or a Journal-listed branch Church of Christ, Scientist, preferred, but is not required

• High School diploma required; College experience or degree preferred
